“Poker” Casino Game Review

“Poker” is a very interesting and unique game developed by an intriguing game studio – Spribe – dedicated to delivering completely authentic products to the iGaming industry. Of course, the name of the game is pretty straightforward, and it is exactly what you might expect.

As such, “Poker” has gained a lot of popularity ever since its release, up until today. If we are being objective, this game, together with all other Spribe games is “bound” to success in the long run of the industry.

We use “Poker” whilst referring to the game developed by Spribe.

Poker by spribe

Gameplay & Rules

“Poker” is yet another classic card game with a twist. After all, this is what most of the company’s games are popular for.

Once you launch the game, you will be led to the menu, where you will be choosing what room to play in. Keep in mind that “Poker” is not a single-player, randomly generated game. In fact, it is the exact opposite.

Just like Aviator and other games by Spribe, “Poker” is a multiplayer game, where you will be playing against real-life players, just like yourself.

Each room has a different number of players. In order for a room to be playable, you need at least 4 players. Otherwise, you will have to wait for other players to join you, which might take some time. This is why we suggest picking a room with 5-6+ people.

Other than that, there aren’t many differences between regular poker and “Poker”. However, you can choose between different versions of poker. Right now, “Poker” allows you to choose between Hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha 6+.

Aside from that “Poker” is pretty unique because of the integrated tournaments in the game and the fact that you can play the Free Mode, which allows you to play without placing bets.

The Tournaments consist of Freeroll, Buy-in, Bounty / Progressive Bounty, Re-buy, Flip, and Satellites. You can read more about each of these types within the game itself. We will skip over explaining these modes in detail in order to avoid wasting your time.

You will be getting to bet anywhere between $0.10 and $100 per round, although once you start winning chips, the ceiling will increase.

Return To Player (RTP) & Game Volatility

“Poker”, unlike other casino players, does not exactly have an RTP. That’s because the game is mainly based on skill and not luck. Of course, the factor of chance is there, due to the fact that the dealer gives you random cards every time.

However, if you are interested the RTP percentage of any game is calculated through usually 10+ million simulated bets done by a computer. This is how developers complete their game as well, testing the RTP.

When talking about volatility, things are similar. There is no volatility when playing “Poker”. That’s because volatility is part of single-player, completely random casino games.

Otherwise, volatility stands for how risky a certain game is. The higher the volatility, the higher your chances of winning big, and the higher the risk. And the lower the volatility, the lower your chances of winning big, and the lower the risk.

Tips & Tricks

Since regular poker is a popular game, there are a lot of suggestions, tips, and tricks you could learn, before ever getting to play “Poker”. However, in this section, we will mostly cover a couple of basic tips targeted toward beginners.

Although we cannot fit all the worthy information in a single section, we also suggest doing your own research, watching videos about poker, etc. This definitely increases your win percentage, since “Poker” is a game of skill, for the most part, and not luck.

Without further ado, let’s get right into it.

You can certainly learn quite a lot if you play “Poker” in a risk-free environment, such as the “Free Game” mode. This is where you will play without any external pressure since you won’t be losing any real money. It is a great place to get confident with “Poker” and learn more about the game.

The same goes for bluffing. Many people who have no experience in poker believe bluffing is something to be used constantly. While this might be true if we are talking about a real-life setting, things are different when you are playing offline. Although it is still possible to bluff, it is generally a better idea to avoid it, while still new to this game.

Closing Thoughts

“Poker” is the first game we are reviewing, that is not completely unique and original, unlike other Spribe games such as Aviator, Mines, Goal, etc. However, it actually comes with a great interface, design, and bonuses. This includes tournaments and different game modes.

We strongly suggest you explore “Poker” if you are a fan of the game. Even if you are doubtful, we suggest checking out the “Free Game” mode and see if you possibly enjoy the gameplay.
