Seka Casino Game Review
Seka is a game that is very popular in Russia and Eastern Europe. It is a skill-based game of cards that seems to be getting increasingly popular lately. That’s mainly because Spribe managed to create an online environment for players to test their skills and luck against one another.
As per usual, Spribe has put a spin on the original game, without changing any of its rules of it. There are many ways to win Spribe and many things to consider before you even begin playing. This is exactly why we’ve compiled the most important information you need before playing your first game of Seka. Without further ado, let’s get right into it.
Gameplay & Rules
Before talking about the gameplay and rules, we’d like to talk about the art style of Seka and its interface. Once you open Seka you will be met with a multiplayer layout, including rooms where you will be playing. After all, all skill-based games by Spribe are strictly multiplayer, meaning you will be playing against other human beings.
Here, you will be selecting the room you want to play in. There are two different factors you should consider when choosing a room. These are the required points to win and the minimum betting amount. Unfortunately, there is no way to know how experienced a player is, unlike when playing other multiplayer online games.
Once you’ve chosen a room, you can click on “Play” which is the big green button located in the right-most section on your screen.
One more thing you will be enjoying in Spribe’s Seka are tournaments. You will be able to select between different tournaments. There are many daily ones and some weekly ones. Each has a different prize pool. Unlike other skill-based games by Spribe, Seka’s tournaments can include up to 32 players.
Your main goal here will be to win as many points as possible by the time the tournament ends. If you are anywhere in the top 5 you will be getting a piece of the cake. But enough about that, let’s talk about the rules and gameplay of Seka.
The rules of Seka are quite simple.
Your goal is to score the most points on the table using your cards. It is played with a deck of 32 cards. This means everything from the 2s to the 6s is excluded. You will only be playing with cards from 7 to Ace. However, Seka also includes the jokers (except for in tournaments).
Before the game even begins, each player must make an “ante” bet. This is another way of saying “the initial bet”. After that, all players are dealt 3 cards in total. The remaining cards of the deck are then discarded and not used in the current round.
Once you see your cards, you can either “raise bet”, “pass”, or “fold”. Of course, if you are playing after someone who’s made a bigger bet than you, you must match or “up” their bet.
However, there’s also the possibility that you reach possible maximum bet this round, which is $100 in total for this version of the game.
Each card brings you a different number of points. After the bets are settled, all cards are revealed. If the total points of your cards are higher than those of your opponent/s you win the bet.
Return To Player (RTP) & Game Volatility
Seka is a multiplayer game, which means there’s chance involved, but it mainly is a skill game. So the RTP cannot be calculated too well. However, there are still calculations made by players and even by Spribe themselves. These calculations evaluate 97% RTP.
Yet, you should keep in mind that this RTP percentage can only be true if you play for a long period of time. To be more specific, studios such as Spribe calculate their games’ RTP through a simulation that completes more than 10 million rounds in total.
History Of Seka
Seka is, as we already mentioned, a game that originated in Russia. More specifically, during the Soviet era. At that time, the game was very popular among soldiers who were looking to pass time, but didn’t want to play any time-consuming, lengthy games.
However, the game first began as a card game mainly for students who were looking for ways to escape studying in school or simply liked the game and played it between classes. As those young people grew up, the game stayed with them, hence why it was so popular among Russian soldiers.
Since the game was popular throughout all of Russia, there were many different variations to the game. The version that Spribe decided to go with is actually the version that many consider to be the original one, or at least the one that’s been most popular.
Tips & Tricks
Tip 1: To start off, as you probably already know, every casino game has a Demo version. This includes Seka. To access this Demo mode, you can head to any casino that offers the game or simply use the official website of Spribe to locate the game and click on “Play Demo”.
Playing the Demo version of any casino game is crucial mainly because there are many games that look enjoyable, but might not be the right one for you.
On top of that, the Demo version lets you try out different strategies and techniques, allowing you to try and minimize the risk of losing funds. This leads us directly to your second suggestion, or rather, tip.
Tip 2: Learn the basics of Seka. This is a rule you should apply to every skill-based game you ever play. Especially when you will be playing it for real money. Although the rules are quite simple, there are still things such as the fact that the game continues until only 2 players remain, that many people skip over. Because of this, we always make sure to bring the attention to the rules of such games.
Not only that, but you will also be more confident once you know the rules by heart. With that being said, let’s head over to our third and final tip for Seka.
Tip 3: Do not get greedy – remember that.. Being greedy during online casino gaming almost never proves to be a great strategy. Although skill is a huge factor when playing Seka, there is also a lot of luck involved. Because of that, there are some things you will not be in control of, such as the cards you are being dealt with.
This can throw off a lot of players and they might lose their cool. Due to this, we suggest taking a breath of fresh air whenever you feel like losing control of your emotions.
Closing Thoughts
Seka is yet another interesting release by Spribe that we strongly suggest you check out. It is a game that is very simple to play, but is a lot of fun. As always, make sure to first play the Demo version of the game before anything else. With that being said, we hope you enjoy your Seka journey and gameplay.
