Aviator Casino Game Review
If you are looking for an unorthodox casino game – Aviator might be what you are looking for. It is not a slot game, nor a table game or a live casino game. Instead, it is a completely unique entry to the casino industry, developed by Spribe.
As you might already know, they have a whole collection of these types of games. The developer describes their product as an “innovative social multiplayer casino game”. However, many call these types of games – Crash Games.
As such, it drew a lot of attention to itself, due to the authentic approach. It was launched back in 2019 and in this article, we will go over everything you need to know about it.
Gameplay & Rules
Aviator does not even look like a traditional slot, so what is left about its gameplay. You will not find any reels, rows, or a spin option. Although there are no animations and interesting graphics, it still looks pretty cool. As a Crash Game, Aviator it has a different result each time the game ends.
In the beginning, you have a window of about 30 second to place a bet. During that time, all other players can also place their bets. Once the countdown ends, the game begins.
You will see an airplane that will begin to fly. The higher and longer it flies, the bigger the multiplier is. That’s the only thing you win in this game – a multiplier of your bet.
The coefficient goes higher and higher as time goes by, until the plane “crashes”. The crash is unpredictable and is random every time. It begins at a 1x multiplier. For example, the crash can happen at a 1.5x multiplier and can go over 15x-20x.
During the plane’s flight, you will be able to collect your multiplier whenever you want, unless it has already crashed. If you predict correctly, before the plane crashes, and you collect your multiplier, the winning is automatically added to your balance.
On the other hand, if the plane crashes by the time you decide to click on “Cash Out”, you will be losing your bet. Once the plane crashes you will have a new time window during which you can place your bet.
Bets go from as little as $0.01 up to $100 per “flight”. However, the game allows you to place two bets simultaneously, where you can cash out at different times. This results in a potential total bet of $200. There are “preset” betting options such as $1, $10, $50, and $100.
Since this is a multiplayer game, you will be seeing everyone’s winnings in the casino.
Return To Player (RTP) & Game Volatility
Spribe states that Aviator comes with exactly 97% RTP. This is better than most games in the casino space right now, making it a viable option to explore.
You will be playing in a highly volatile environment, mainly because you control your own winnings in a way. Although the game is random and it can end pretty swiftly, which makes it even more volatile.
However, Spribe describes the game as having low-medium volatility, which doesn’t really add up. Yet, we understand why they state that, due to the fact that many players go for a 1.X multiplier many times in a row in order to win, lowering the risk of losses.
Of course, there are those who are looking to hit the 5x+ multiplier, which means they will be playing in a higher volatility environment than other players.
Tips & Tricks
Although Aviator is very simple to play, it takes a little bit of time before you get the hang of it and start building confidence during gameplay. There are no hacks/secret mechanics, however, there seem to be players who are getting an idea of when the plane might crash.
You can find a lot of speculative information on Reddit and other similar forums. Some players even bring proof, but you should look at such posts with a grain of salt.
- Tip 1: We suggest starting off with the Demo version of the Aviator. This way, you will have a chance to notice a pattern that will help you win more. The Demo version is also a great way to get used to the game and build confidence, as well as get an idea of what Aviator is. After all, it might not be your game.
- Tip 2: Another thing you can do is use the multiplayer features to your advantage. What we mean by this is that you can see when each player cashes out during gameplay. There is a section on the left-hand side, where you can see when players cash out and how much of a multiplier they got.
This allows you to study players who are doing good and are winning big, or at least winning consistently. If you manage to catch their strategy, you can start copying their cashout time and win just as much.
- Tip 3: Don’t be greedy. The worst thing you can do whilst playing Aviator is to be greedy. Sometimes it is better to keep the winnings down to 1.0something, instead of looking for multipliers of 2x,3x, or higher. This will give you a better chance of winning as well.
This way, small wins accumulate and at the end of the day, you will cashout a better total amount, than you’d do looking for a big multiplier.
Or, if you want to look for that high multiplier, we suggest going with a smaller bet, so you won’t get frustrated in case the plane crashes before you can cash out.
Closing Thoughts
We believe that Aviator is a breath of fresh air for the iGaming industry. Spribe have done a fantastic job developing this innovative game. The gameplay is fun, the multiplier can be very big, the RTP is 97%, and most of all – you decide when to cash out. For these, and many more reasons, we suggest checking Aviator out. We believe you won’t be disappointed.
