“Mini Roulette” Casino Game Review
Mini Roulette is a very popular release by the software developer – Spribe. This is also their first unique take on a classic table game. However, with a twist, as always. It should not surprise you that each of Spribe’s games is completely unique and authentic.
All of their releases up until now have been hits, even if the software developer is not yet that popular. Leaving that aside, let’s see whether or not Mini Roulette is down your alley or not. We will be exploring the gameplay & visuals, rules, and give you some beginner tips on how to play.
Gameplay & Rules
Mini Roulette is essentially the classic French roulette game with a twist. The design is pretty neat, combining great colors with simplicity. The animation of the roulette itself is also quite clean and smooth.
Unlike regular roulette, Mini Roulette, as the name suggests, is a smaller version (smaller wheel) of the regular one. Regular French roulette has a total of 36 numbers (37 with the 0). In contrast Mini Roulette has a total of 12 numbers and there is no number 0.
This brings the chances of winning to a whole new level. However, more about that in a second.
Before you click on the spin icon, you will need to choose the chip you want to bet. There’s a total of 7 chips with different values. 1 chip equals $0.01. The chips are as follows: 1, 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000, and 10,000. This results in bets of $0.01, $0.10, $0.50, $1, $5, $10, and $100 respectively.
The betting limit is $100, however, you can place 10 chips of $10, or just split them however you want.
You can place your bets by choosing a chip and then clicking on a number or another option, or by clicking on a particular option multiple times, increasing your bet.
Now that we’ve mentioned other betting options, let’s talk about that. The betting options are as follows: Numbers, 1-6, 7-12, Odd, Even, Red, and Black.
Each of these betting options comes with a different bet multiplier. This means that depending on what you choose to bet on, your winnings will differ.
For example, everything aside from Numbers betting comes with a 1.94x multiplier. The Numbers have different multipliers, depending on what you choose. You can check these out in the dedicated “Paytable” section in the right section above the betting options.
Return To Player (RTP) & Game Volatility
Mini Roulette comes with an RTP of 97%, which is the RTP of all Spribe games. This percentage is way better than the RTP of many video slots, which gives players advantage. The RTP is usually calculated of a total of 10 million bets, resulting in the total return to player rate.
This means that the longer you play, the closer you will be getting to the 97% RTP.
As for the game volatility, you will be playing in a medium volatile environment. Unlike video slots, the volatility here is hard to calculate, because there’s a limited number of options, although the result is completely random every time.
Tips & Tricks
In this section, we will be discussing some tips when playing Mini Roulette which might help beginners. If you are an experienced roulette player, you can easily skip these steps or use them as reminders.
Before that, let’s discuss a couple of things.
Mini Roulette should be looked at as a regular roulette to some extent. Strategies that work for regular roulette will also work here, although the game is not played in real-life, but is rather virtually generated, which some people are not fond of.
There are some forum posts online showing tips & tricks for Mini Roulette, however, these are hardly reliable. That’s because every time you spin the roulette, the results will be completely randomly generated.
With that being said, let’s see some tips & strategies.
- Tip 1: Just like we always suggest, we recommend you go through the Demo version of Mini Roulette, before you play for real money.
This way you will be able to develop strategies such as the 10 to 1 tactic. This is the one we mentioned earlier in the article, where you make a smaller bet 10-20 times and make a bigger bet once after that. - Tip 2: You can try betting on one color only and multiplying your bet by 2x everytime you lose. This way you will be getting your money back once you win, which is a common roulette strategy, forbidden in some real-life casinos due to its effectiveness.
We strongly suggest testing this strategy out in the Demo version of the game.
- Tip 3: Finally, the most important tip we have for you is to not go all-out when playing Mini Roulette. By that, we mean don’t play recklessly and try managing your risk. When you see you start losing a lot, get a break in order to avoid playing emotionally.
After all, this is a completely virtual game so the outcome does not depend on anyone but the developers’ code for random generated results.
Closing Thoughts
Mini Roulette is a great mini-version of the original French roulette game that we all know. It is very easy to understand and play, the RTP is quite high, and it is overall a lot of fun. This is similar to other Spribe games, which are completely original. With that being said, we suggest checking out Mini Roulette even if only the Demo version.
