Savanna Roar

Savanna Roar Slot Review

Savanna Roar is another entry by Yggdrasil that is in collaboration with another developer, and in this case, it is Jelly, which has taken care of the design.

You can expect a familiar layout of 5 reels, 4 rows, and x1024 paylines, with bets that range from $0.25 all the way up to $100, which is good for both low-risk and high-roll players. Additionally, you can expect a maximum multiplier on your wager of x10 459 in a single spin.

The RTP, in this case, is set to 96.56% which is so much higher than the standard of 96%, especially in the long term. And as expected, the game comes with high volatility which is pretty normal for a multiplier of that caliber.

Theme & Symbols

Savanna Roar's theme speaks for itself and is exactly what you might expect, aside from the colors that are a bit colder than what you might have encountered in the past. The background and music in combination do wonders to how good the game can feel.

The symbols you will be encountering are pretty standard, being J, Q, K, A, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo, Savanna Roar (Scatter), and Lion (Wild), which acts as a substitute for all other symbols in the game, except the Scatter.

Bonus Features

First, we will talk about Paid Spins, which come with some modifiers that are activated randomly throughout the course of the spins.

The Rhino Stampede adds a mystery symbol, which then turns into symbols of the same type. The Wild Leopard Spotted turns all Leopard symbols into Wilds. The Buffalo Charge spreads Buffalo symbols to nearby positions. The Untamed Elephant Spotted turns all Elephant symbols into bigger versions which then cover 3 reel and rows positions.

And if you don't wish to pay, you can expect to trigger the Free Spins feature by landing 6 or more scatters, which is quite a lot, but the game helps you with the respin feature, locking in previous scatters.

The more scatters you land, the more Free Spins will get, with the minimum being 6 scatters for 10 Free Spins, and the maximum being 20 scatters for 25 Free Spins. Keep in mind that the Free Spins are more profitable than the paid ones as they have higher chances of getting you modifiers.

Mobile Support

Savanna Roar is well-optimized for your iOS or Android devices, allowing for an easy transition from desktop to mobile, due to the fact that there is only one major difference between both versions, which is the placement of the buttons. On mobile devices, the navigation buttons can be found on the right, while on the desktop version, they can be found on the bottom left and bottom right of the screen.

Conclusion

Savanna Roar gives players a simplistic, yet attention-grabbing slot, with great graphics and music, allowing for an immersive experience. Additionally, what players will love the see is the fact that the game offers 96.56% RTP, which is more than half a percent higher than the standard of 96%. Additionally, opportunities will be given to both low-risk and high-roll players due to the bet limits.
