4 Diamond Blues Megaways

4 Diamond Blues Megaways Slot Review

4 Diamond Blues Megaways is a slot released by Microgaming in collaboration with Buck Stakes Entertainment, which relies, as the name implies, on the megaways feature, licensed by Big Time Gaming.

The game offers 6 reels, with a maximum of 7 symbols on each, and 117 649 ways to win. The betting range starts at $0.10 and finishes at $20. The maximum multiplier is x18 500, which is about standard for all Megaways slots.

You can expect an RTP of 96.40%, which is almost half a percent higher than the golden standard of 96%, meaning you will be risking less in the long term.

Theme & Symbols

As the name implies, the Diamonds are probably the main key of the thematic in this case. The background of the game is literally a slot machine with an interesting twist. The music accompanies the graphics perfectly, making a great tandem.

You will be coming across the symbols Spades, Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs, 4 Clover, Horseshoe, Bell, Sevens, Bar, Cherry, and Shiny Diamonds.

Bonus Features

You will notice that the middle four reels have a bonus reel on top, which helps you form winning combinations more easily but is also separated from the main layout.

Every time you for a winning combination, the Rolling Reels will be triggered, which removes winning symbols from the game and brings you new ones, similar to how the Cascading Reels feature works in other slots.

The Free Spins are triggered once you land 4 or more Shiny Diamonds. This is where you will have a higher chance of winning big. You will be getting anywhere between 12 and 22 Free Spins, depending on how many Shiny Diamonds you land. The feature can be re-triggered by landing the same symbols yet again.

Mobile Support

4 Diamond Blues Megaways is well-optimized for your iOS or Android devices, allowing for an easy transition from desktop to mobile and vice versa. This happens due to the fact that there is only one major difference between both versions, which is the buttons' placement. On mobile devices, the navigation buttons can be found on the right, whereas on the desktop version, they can be found on the bottom left and bottom right of the screen.

Conclusion

4 Diamond Blues Megaways is not that much different than other Megaways, but the design, sounds, and some other things stand out. Such is the incredible RTP of 96.40%, which is so much higher than the average. Additionally, all players, both low-risk and high-roll, will be able to enjoy the game due to the betting range. One thing that might come as a disappointment is the fact that it doesn't look like much effort has been placed into designing the slot and integrating special features.
